Period for admission into Brimawa School
Brimawa School has three constituent schools, namely:
- Brimawa Day Care and Nursery School
- Brimawa Lower Basic School
- Brimawa Upper Basic School
Admissions into any of the above schools open from July to September

Brimawa Admission Requirements
Brimawa Daycare and Nursery School:
- No formal educational requirements except the child’s age has to be between 2 and 5 years;
Brimawa Lower Basic (Primary) School:
- Apart from Grades 1 and 2, admissions in Grades 3,4,5 and 6 will be preceded by a diagnostic entrance examination. A pass in the entrance examination confirms a child’s admission into the school.
Brimawa Upper Basic School:
- A student has to meet all the requirements below before confirmation of admission into Brimawa Upper Basic School:
- Completion of Grade 6 from a recognized Lower Basic School;
- A pass in the National Assessment Test (NAT) Grade 5
- A pass in the Brimawa Upper Basic School Entrance Examination
